How did you get here?

Before coming to Indigo Swan I worked for a large pension and insurance company, I always felt like I was just a number and struggled with job satisfaction. I decided to look for a new challenge and came across an advert for a Compliance Administrator at Indigo Swan. I loved the sound of the role and I got a lovely feeling from the way the advert was written, monthly pizza outings were just bonus! I made a great decision and have loved every minute of the last two years with the company.

What are you most proud of?

For a very long time I put off learning to drive, however in March 2016 I decided to go for it and booked a 5 day intensive course. After a very tough 20 hours of driving and 10 hours in a class room I passed my driving test first time a week later, this is something I am very proud of achieving as it was so nerve-wracking for me.

An interesting fact

I am a huge Disney fan and I have spent 27 weeks, that’s 189 days or 4536 hours visiting Disney World in Florida and Disney Land Paris!

What do you do at Indigo Swan?

My main role here at Indigo Swan is dealing with any issues our clients have with their energy accounts, no matter how big or small. In my time with Indigo Swan I have gained a great deal of knowledge about the energy industry and its processes, enabling me to deal with a wide range of scenarios from billing issues to new meter installs in an efficient and timely manner. I also act as a part of compliance, every contract our clients sign have 24 human checks carried out to ensure there are no problems with the supplier taking on the supply and implementing the contract, this is a process I am responsible for managing.
