What’s your job title? – Client Experience Coach
How did you get here? – I originally joined Indigo Swan in 2013 as a Sales & Contracts Developer. This was mainly working to assist the small team of Client Guides with their busy workload and to undertake some new business campaigns. After proving my capabilities within this role I quickly progressed to the position of Client Guide where I began managing a busy portfolio of accounts.
In March 2016 my partner and I relocated to Hertfordshire and it was at this point that I decided to take this adventure as an opportunity to pursue my career elsewhere. During 2016 I experienced positions within both the telecommunications and insurance industries, but unfortunately I found it difficult to find a career path and company that matched my ambition – like Indigo Swan had. I am glad to have experienced roles within these differing companies however when the exciting opportunity arose for me to return to Indigo Swan I jumped at the chance – and I am so excited to be back and feel ready to take on this new challenge as Client Experience Coach.
What are you most proud of? – Last year I took a chance and moved away from everything I knew. I felt completely out of my comfort zone as I would be away from where I had grown up, my friends and my most importantly my family. Since moving here we have been lucky enough to make friends locally and experience new things that we probably wouldn’t have done before. My partner and I never expected to find such a friendly and welcoming area so close to London. I am so proud that I pushed myself to do this – and we’ve not looked back!
An interesting fact about you – Although it has taken a backseat for now, I am trained in Ballroom and Latin American dance and have competed at the Annual Grand Finals at Blackpool Tower Ballroom and the Winter Gardens.
