The Oscars of the Energy industry
One of the biggest events in the Swan calendar is The Energy Live Consultancy Awards (TELCAs) in London. We always look forward to attending – partly because we hope we win, and partly because the event itself is so much fun!
We were very proud to win Consultancy of the Year for the East of England this year. It’s wonderful to be recognised as a world-class team, providing an industry-leading service to businesses across the UK.
Our (not-so) Secret Star…
This new award was the highlight of our evening. We had to nominate somebody in our team who works hard, gets the job done and has the respect of peers and colleagues alike. For us, Rae was an obvious choice.
“Rae is kind, thoughtful, compassionate, hardworking, enthusiastic and beautifully humble. As a full-time working single mummy, the challenges she faces are mega. She approaches it with true grit and inspiring determination.”
Rae has been with Indigo Swan since 2015 and, though her role has changed somewhat since she started, she has always been a cornerstone of the Client Support team. Her role is to unravel complex changes of tenancies, resolve billing queries and use her tenacity and natural determination to represent the client when long-winded and tremendously frustrating supplier issues appear.
Life Property Management (LPM) is one of our clients, based in Glasgow. Rae works with them to solve problems that cover a portfolio of over 650 supplies, and always does so with her natural optimism and positive attitude. Debbie McDonald, who works for LPM, said:
“Customer service skills like Rae’s are second to none and cannot be bought; she is naturally gifted. She makes dealing with our huge energy portfolio easy and fun – just the way it should be.
Rae has worked over 100 cases for LPM, which has saved me months’ worth of work. I simply don’t know how Rae manages to make sense of the problems, keep calm and successfully resolve every challenge I present her with.”
We’re so proud to see Rae’s achievements recognised on a national stage, in front of our peers and colleagues. We admire her bravery to go up on stage alone to collect her award, though the Swans can be seen in the background of the photos completely beside ourselves with happiness for her.
