Client Guide | Indigo Swan


We’re award-winning energy contract enthusiasts. We’re based in the centre of Norwich, and have over 550 clients nationwide. We’re looking for an Account Manager to work as part of a team who negotiate and manage energy contracts for our business clients. 


LOCATION: Norwich city centre
JOB TERM: Permanent
HOURS: Full time, 9-5.30 Monday to Friday
SALARY: Dependent on experience


About the role

You’ll support our sales team right from the first contact with the client and throughout the life of their energy supply contracts. You’ll be on hand to support our clients with any issues they have, to ensure they are resolved with the best possible outcome. You’ll manage your own portfolio of clients, contacting them at renewal and throughout the year to build strong relationships and help them with any queries. Plus, you can also develop your own prospects, converting them to new clients.

Our Client Guides currently manage a vast range of wonderful businesses. Our successful new Client Guide will be working with our existing team to support our customers with their energy contract requirements.

We asked Aimee, Hannah and Louise (our lovely Client Guides) to provide a little insight into the role:

What does it mean to be a Client Guide?

Louise: “Being a Client Guide means being that first point of contact for all of your client queries, to be their trusted fountain of knowledge, and be that friendly, helpful voice at the end of the phone”

Aimee: “Managing a growing and complex portfolio of clients who have specific needs, requiring in-depth daily account management, representing Indigo Swan at client meetings or industry events and most importantly, drinking tea”

What is it like to be a Swan?

Louise: “The Indigo Swan team are full of the loveliest, helpful and supportive people I have ever met, and I always leave the office with a sense that I have contributed that day and I have made a difference.”

About you

This role requires a professional and friendly nature, a good level of attention to detail, good organisational skills and strong use of English, Maths, Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
