You’ll provide excellent customer service to existing and new business clients, assisting them with their energy contract management needs. You’ll ensure clients feel well supported and informed at all stages of the electricity and gas contract negotiations. You’ll achieve and exceed renewals and new business sales and quality targets. You’ll be trusted and respected by colleagues, clients and suppliers, building and maintaining established relationships. You’ll work closely with the sales team and will be a good communicator across all teams in the business.
The Account Manager is a specific job role within the Business. You will be expected to work flexibly across all areas, providing support to different departments as appropriate.
Full training in all areas of the business will be provided. This will cover the energy industry, Indigo Swan’s processes and products, our clients and the company’s strategies.

This role requires a professional and friendly nature, a high level of attention to detail, good organisational skills and strong use of English and Maths (particularly through Microsoft Office Word and Excel). Indigo Swan additionally requires a sense of humour and a can-do attitude to fit into the culture of our organisation. You’ll be a positive communicator, with high levels of empathy and inter-personal skills. Experience within energy procurement and contract negotiation (either from a supplier, broker or another industry party) will be extremely beneficial, but not essential as full training will be given.
