My role as Client Guide is to guide businesses through the confusing world of energy. I’m here to explain things in a simple, easy to understand way so that when it comes to deciding on your energy contracts, it’s not a difficult or daunting experience.
As well as negotiating prices to get the best rates for your energy supplies, I also make sure any issues are dealt with in the easiest possible way.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF?
I have recently started running. I have never been “sporty” and I always used to say I would only run if I was being chased! The Swans convinced me to give it a go and I absolutely love it. We have a running group and run 5k every Wednesday. I never in a million years thought I could run that far and enjoy it so I’m really proud of myself for sticking with it. I’m going to continue running and sign up to the Norwich 10k next year to raise money for our chosen charity.
TELL US AN INTERESTING FACT?
I recently got married! Not just any wedding but a surprise Las Vegas wedding at The Little White Chapel arranged by my husband on a holiday to California. He proposed on the Monday under the proviso we got married in Las Vegas on the Saturday. It was just the two of us and was amazing. It was the same wedding chapel that Frank Sinatra and Mia Farrow, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis and Britney Spears all got married in, to name a few. It was the best holiday ever.
HOW DID YOU GET HERE?
I’ve had a varied career which started off training as a florist, which I enjoyed for many years until I wanted a new challenge. I was a manager in a busy city pub before I joined the target driven world of advertising sales, which just wasn’t for me.
I’d known about Indigo Swan, their values and passion for what they do for a while. An opportunity came up to join their team and I jumped at the chance.
Each role I’ve had has given me the skills I use everyday and I’m very happy that my journey has led me here.
WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE YOUR HEADER IMAGE?
I chose the Las Vegas sign because I got married in Las Vegas in June this year. It was all a surprise by my husband on a holiday to California. It was just amazing and Las Vegas will always have a special piece of my heart belonging to it.
