Indigo Swan Environmental Policy and Sustainability Goals

 

Mission

We want to educate employees and our business connections on ways to become more sustainable to help reduce carbon emissions and become Net Zero. We want to be recognised for our commitment towards a sustainable future and empower others to make informed decisions.

Vision

Indigo Swan drives a positive impact towards businesses becoming more sustainable whilst lowering its own carbon emissions to work towards a carbon neutral future by 2050. Sustainability is a key focus for all our employees, and we are committed to working together to help ensure a healthy future for all.

Goals

Short Term Goals (2023 – 2024)

  • Inform and encourage employees to be more sustainable in the office and at home.
  • Ensure our office recycling methods are as effective as possible by June 24.
  • Educate other businesses on ways to become more sustainable by 5% of clients taken advice by Indigo Swan, which is monitored by a product, service, advice.
  • Proactively start our Journey towards Net Zero by forming a Sustainability committee and achieving the goals set.
  • Improve employee awareness of the ISO Management System by Easter 24.
  • Promote and encourage for at least a 50% of employees to use public transport, car share, walk or use of a 0% emission vehicle.
  • All Indigo Swan Marketing collateral should be sustainably produced products.

Medium Term Goals (2025 – 2026)

  • Offering EV Schemes.
  • To Offset all 100% of Carbon from business travel.
  • Office and Hygiene consumables should be sustainably produced products.
  • For Indigo Swan not to use anymore than the current EAC, even when growth.

Long Term Goals (2027)

  • Transition to Indigo Swan to renewable energy sources.
  • Ensure 80% of our customers contracted usage is Green Sources of Energy,
  • Have a plan to become a Net Zero company by 2040.

 

 

Governance

The Indigo Swan Senior Leadership Team and Sustainability Committee are responsible for the delivery of this policy.
