When you first met Indigo Swan why were you reviewing your energy consultant relationship?

Our previous experience with energy brokers involved share of savings schemes, which didn’t go as well as we anticipated.  Because of this experience we had decided to manage our contracts ourselves and were finding the administration of our 36 supplies challenging.

What was important to you when making the decision to use Indigo Swan?

We did not want to be tied into a contract with a broker or to work on a share of savings basis. What was your impression of how Indigo Swan handled your contract management tender?

When we engaged with Indigo Swan we had already renewed one of our contracts. Indigo Swan had an excellent relationship with the supplier and was able to negotiate a reduction of over 6% for us. Their pricing reports are clear and easy to understand, and we are comfortable they are looking after our energy for us.

If you were to quantify the benefit of using Indigo Swan what would it be?

We have over 30 supplies and keeping track of the different contract end dates, meter readings and different termination periods was giving us a headache. Indigo Swan was able to very quickly give us the information we needed to gain control of our energy contracts. They have saved the Bursar and Facilities Manager time by sourcing quotes and performing the analysis for us.

What is the best thing about working with Indigo Swan?

I used to worry about getting the best deals on energy, I don’t anymore.
