Indigo Swan are a finalist in the Employee Experience Awards

Wind turbine against purple sky

We are thrilled to announce we’ve been shortlisted for two Employee Experience Awards this year – ‘Employee-centric company’ and ‘Best Company to Work For’, which we are incredibly excited about.

Many of you will already know we are big on culture at the nest! We believe that happiness leads to success, not the other way around. We take lots of steps to make sure each swan loves spending their working life with us.

One of these steps is by offering each swan a ‘well-being allowance’ for them to spend as they choose. Some of the uses include gym memberships, counselling sessions, even osteopathy appointments. We also have two exercise initiatives for all employees – at lunchtime, team members join a private Pilates class and after work we have a running club.

We recently launched our ‘lunch and learn’ sessions which take place once a month and focus on numerous topics. We provide a tasty lunch for the swans and invite a speaker to come and share with us all some information on their area of expertise. Topics we will be exploring include wellbeing, health and fitness, public speaking tips and how to get over phone fear, Business Buddhism and many more.

Our culture is underpinned by the diversity of our team and the fact that we celebrate individuality! We recognise each swan for their own amazing qualities and character. Check out this video for a bit more insight.

It’s an honour to sit alongside our fellow nominees including Receipt Bank, Octopus Energy, and Wave Utilities. We want to take this opportunity to congratulate all the finalists and we wish you the very best of luck. We look forward to meeting you next month!

The winners won’t be announced until the award ceremony on Wednesday 15th May so watch this space!

Please keep your fingers and feathers crossed for us.
