Looking back on 2019!

Info graphic of year end review stats|||||||||

As 2019 comes to a close and we start to prepare for what 2020 has to offer, we’ve been taking a look back at some of our highlights from over the past year. It’s certainly going to be a year we remember – we’ve broken lots of internal records, we’ve had some amazing new swans join the nest and its just generally been a pretty ‘aweswan’ 12 months.

It is always important to reflect on and celebrate our achievements as it helps us progress so here’s a quick breakdown of some of our key stats for the year:

Our employee engagement rate has increased by 8% this year compared to 2018 and our client retention rate has increased by 7% – which is just so incredible and makes us feel so lucky!!!! We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our friends, family and everyone in the local business community who has supported us during 2019, we really wouldn’t be where we are today without you!

With so many fond memories from across the year, the phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” comes to mind right now. Below are just a few of our favourite memories, we couldn’t fit them all in but hope you enjoy!

January and February: James speaking at the Engaging Norfolk event, the start of our 2019 Cornwall Training sessions, attending the ‘Sharing City’ event, receiving our Real Living Wage plaque, attending the Tweetup at EPIC Studios, receiving bronze as a Norwich Jobs Employer, speaking at the Culture Shock Event at the UEA and a fab coaching session with Run Stoppable!

November and December: Being crowned the National Runners Up for ‘Workplace Wellbeing’ at the British Chamber Awards, celebrating national cake day, winning ‘Best Small and Medium’ Business at the Norfolk Business Awards for a second year in a row, meeting Jackson the puppy, the beginning of the Swan gesture photos, Hayley becoming a radio start for Real Living Wage Week, our Big Indigo Charity Quiz and raising £5,000 for Norfolk and Waveney Mind, our festive themed lunch and learn, the last Netwalk of 2019, Christmas Jumper Day, the Howes Percival Christmas Quiz and celebrating our 10th Birthday!

These are just some of our amazing highlights from 2019! We’re certainly finishing the year on a high and can’t wait to come back in 2020 with a whole bunch of new challenges to take on. Have a lovely Christmas everyone how ever you decide to spend it and a great start to 2020!
