We’ve been recognised for the care we give our customers!

Well, 2020 has certainly been a year we will not forget in a hurry, but at the same time it is one I am sure we are all very much looking forward to putting behind us. It has come with both its challenges and its positives, but one thing has always remained the same and that is our focus on providing the best level of service to our customers.

With that in mind, we are thrilled to be finishing the year on a high and with some amazing recognition for all the Swans hard work. Not only were we crowned winners in the ‘Customer Care’ category at the Norfolk Business Awards last month, last week we also won ‘Best Customer Service – SME’ at the Energy Live News TELCA awards!

The TELCA awards were live streamed on Friday afternoon where over 40 different TPIs (third party intermediaries) and energy consultants joined and eagerly awaited the results. Although the ceremony had a slightly different feel to past years, it was fantastic to have the opportunity to get together and celebrate with everyone Zoom. We were finalists in 5 different categories in total including Most Trusted SME and Large business, Wellbeing and Consultancy of the year. Each year the competition gets harder and were up against some amazing businesses. We want to congratulate all the finalists and winners. To be shortlisted alone for an award is an incredible achievement and everyone should be very proud.

I know for all the Swans it’s such an honour to be recognised both within the energy sector and in the local business community. The Norfolk Business Awards winners were cleverly announced over social media during the day on the 24th November and although we missed getting together with friends and colleagues at the Norfolk Show Ground, it was fantastic that the awards still went ahead and we were able to celebrate all the fantastic businesses we have in the county. We feel very proud to sit among them as the winners of the ‘Customer Care’ category.

A few of the Swans got together at the nest, in a socially distanced way of course, to await the results of both the awards. There was an amazing buzz still in the air on both days and the anticipation teamed with the build up was a similar feeling to that of a normal awards day. Although we couldn’t hug and celebrate in our normal Indigo Swan way, it was great to get together and receive the recognition for all the Swans hard work, especially during a year which has been so challenging. One thing is for sure, we’re very much looking forward to some delayed celebrations once the time is right and it is appropriate to do so, but for now thank you to all our clients, friends, suppliers and the business community for all your support. Let’s see what 2021 bring us!
