EDP Business Awards 2024

If you follow us on social media, you may have seen some exciting news which was revealed yesterday. The EDP Business Awards have been announced and we over the moon to have been shortlisted in not 1 but 3 categories!

The EDP Business Awards recognises the achievements of businesses in the Norfolk region, and we are so proud to be part of this amazing community. We feel very honoured to have been recognised in the following categories:

  • Medium Business of the Year
  • Employer of the Year
  • Director of the Year – Andy Kindleysides

James, Managing Director said:

“Proud. The only word that can be used to explain the feeling of being named as finalists for several Norfolk Business Awards. It is also our first time as finalists since we completed an MBO in 2022 and I am extremely proud of how far the team have come, the growth we have seen as a business and how we continue to set the bar for workplace wellbeing, environment, collaboration and embracing our culture and life as a Swan (not literally!).

To be recognised as an amazing employer is so gratifying, and the first time we have been recognised in this category. It is a testament for the hard work that our leaders have put in to really create a business we can be proud of and is somewhere that people see as a place they want to be rather than have to be in the world of flexible working.

Regarding the Medium Business of the Year Award, this is incredible and again an amazing achievement that recognises the growth and investment that we have put into the business over the last few years and the hard work that each and every swan has put in to create growth, through the retention of our clients and the onboarding of many new ones. The fact these awards have also recognised our efforts when it comes to being sustainable, both environmentally and with our business decisions, through process, strategy and human behaviour makes it even more gratifying. Go the Swans!”.

This is a huge achievement and wouldn’t be possible without the hard work of our Swans, as well as the support that our Directors provide every day.

Alongside our two business categories our Operations Director, Andy Kindleysides, has been shortlisted personally for ‘Director of the Year’, and all the Swans are so proud of him!

Andy, Operations Director said:

“I am extremely proud being nominated by my fellow Directors, and I’m ecstatic to have made the final of Director of the Year.

It’s been a difficult transition at times for me, from employee to being a Director / Co-owner of Indigo Swan. But being able to focus on my strengths and motivations to deliver internal projects has been transformational for my 2024.

Whatever the outcome of the awards, I’m very proud to have made the final four and to be representing Indigo Swan on the night”.

This exciting news comes shortly after we were announced as a finalist for TEN TELCA Awards, which we are also thrilled about. Our Swans work hard to ensure we provide the best possible service for our clients, and to be recognised for so many awards in a single ceremony is a huge achievement. From customer service to our dedication to supporting customers on their journey to Net Zero, our team are working hard in every area.

The winners for the EDP Business Awards will be announced on Thursday 28th November at a black-tie event at the Norfolk Showground. Congratulations to all of the other finalists!
