Hannah Cooper, otherwise known as Mrs C or Coops, is one of our amazing Energy Contract Enthusiast’s. Part of her role is to negotiate with suppliers the best possible energy contracts on behalf of our Clients. Apart from working alongside all the Swans, Hannah’s favourite thing about working at Indigo Swan is our values. They are what drew her to the nest when she first started in 2016. In her words: “I love working for a company that truly believes the things they say and the values which are at the core of everything we do.”
Away from the nest Mrs C loves spending time with her friends. Friday’s nights (when we aren’t on lockdown) usually involve the Fat Cat Brewery Tap and their famous chips or a games night with a group of friends. Ultimately though, she’s a home bod! If you managed to listen to our recent podcast where we got to know Hannah a little better, you will know her favourite place is home and she enjoys nothing better than curling up on the sofa with her husband, a good film and a takeaway.

As well as seeing friends, Hannah also loves to travel and explore new places with her husband. When I asked her, what’s been her favourite holiday so far, she replied: “I loved New Zealand. It was my husband and I’s first adventure together along with 3 friends. We travelled around the East Coast in a motor home for 2 weeks. The landscape is just breathtaking. It was a place I felt a real connection with, and I would love to go back one day.”
Hannah and I share a love of books and often swap good reads for each other to enjoy. One author we both really like is Shari Lapena. Hannah’s currently reading one of hers ‘a stranger in the house’ and I’m reading another ‘someone we know’. We also managed to introduce Hayley to her books who recently finished ‘the couple next door’ and said she couldn’t put it down.
When it comes to music, Hannah is open to listening to anything and loves songs which evoke memories. Recently she went to a Slipknot concert with her husband who is a big fan and said she was surprised by how much she enjoyed it. I think all the pyrotechnics were the main highlight!
Something you may not know about Hannah is that she was born and raised in Devon. She is a country bumpkin at heart. She’s also amazing at pottery and loves to get creative! Her hubby treated her to some classes as a Christmas present and she’s certainly got the knack for it! She can now throw, turn and glaze a pot from scratch – which I’m sure you will agree is pretty incredible!
