Four swans promoted to coaching roles

The UK Energy Market: What’s Going on Right Now

2021 was an exciting year for Indigo Swan and saw us not only develop as a company, but we also expanded the team and took on new swans to join the nest. It was also a positive year for us in terms of gaining recognition for all of the hard work and passion that our swans have shown over the last 12 months. We were delighted to have won two awards at the TELCA awards 2021, for ‘Consultancy of the Year – SME’ and ‘Best Customer Service – SME’. We were also shortlisted as a finalist in the EDP Business Awards for ‘Disruptor of the Year’ and our Managing Director, James Groves was a finalist for ‘Business Person of the Year’.

At the end of 2021 we carried out internal interviews to find four swans to step up into coaching roles and join the Indigo Swan leadership team. We are delighted to share details below of the four successful people who have been promoted. This is an amazing and very exciting achievement for each of them. We have a lot of exciting plans as a company for 2022 and these new coaching roles will ensure that we are able to not only achieve these, but also ensure that we are always putting our customers first and providing the best level of service possible.

The new coaches at Indigo Swan are as follows.

  • Richard Brooks – Case Manager Coach
  • Hannah Cooper – Training & Development Coach
  • Louise Arnold – Sales Coach
  • Leanne Jarvis – Data Checks Administrator Coach

Hannah Cooper – Training & Development Coach

Hannah has been part of Indigo Swan since 2016 and has become a highly valued member of the team. Customers love her cheerful manner and suppliers appreciate her direct approach regarding contract negotiation. Hannah always keeps the customer’s best interest at the heart of every decision, and I know this will continue as she steps into a Coaching role.’ – Aimee Konieczny, Head of Client Relationships

Louise Arnold – Sales Coach

‘Louise has been with the company for 6 years and in that time the relationships she has built alongside her love of making sure all our clients are given the very best service and advice made her a perfect candidate for this role and I am excited to see where she can enhance the team this year’. – James Groves, Managing Director

Leanne Jarvis – Data Checks Administrator

‘Leanne is one of our longest serving members of staff being with Indigo Swan since 2010. During that time Leanne worked in most departments picking up skills and knowledge that will help Leanne coach the rest of the team. Leanne is always trying to find a better way of improving systems or processes, and I am looking forward to seeing these being implemented in 2022, and in the future’. Andy Kindleysides, Head of Operations & Client Services

Richard Brooks – Case Manager Coach

‘Richard has only been at Indigo Swan since 2020, but I have professionally known Richard since 2007 where we used to work in similar roles at a previous company. Richard has vast experience in leading teams and has proven this in the time that he has been working at Indigo Swan. I’m really looking forward to working closely with Richard and for him to take our cases team to the next level.’ – Andy Kindleysides, Head of Operations & Client Services

James Groves, Managing Director commented: ‘It is always exciting and rewarding being able to promote talent internally and a fantastic way to end 2021 and kick off 2022. I was so proud to see so many Swans step up to the challenge, to step outside their comfort zones and to give everything they had for the opportunities available. Sadly everyone can’t be successful, but it filled me with pride and confidence, that Indigo Swan has the talent it needs to reach even higher levels and to provide the very best consultancy experience for our clients, suppliers and partners, alongside the talent to support and nurture all Swans.

Congratulations to Leanne, Hannah, Richard and Louise. They all make fantastic additions to the Indigo Swan leadership team, and will be pivotal in helping us achieve our future goals as a company and I am excited to have them on board.

Working alongside Aimee Konieczny (Head of Client Relationships) and Andy Kindleysides (Head of Operations & Client Services) I know they will be instrumental in supporting our award winning sales and services teams both now and in the future.’
