Job Overview

Indigo Swan are a multi-award winning energy consultancy on the hunt for a data-loving, error-spotting whiz, to join our friendly team as a Data Executive

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Promote Indigo Swan as a professional organisation at all times
  • Investigate and resolve incoming Change of Tenancy cases
  • Work with our clients to ensure we are achieving agreed SLAs on a daily basis
  • Liaise with energy suppliers to make sure Indigo Swan gets the result the client needs when it comes to managing Change of Tenancy
  • Collate client energy usage data from energy suppliers via phone, email and online portals
  • Enter data onto our company CRM system in accordance with quality standards
  • Provide customer support within Indigo Swan, ensuring deadlines and internal requirements are met
  • Understand the roles within the team to assist when required
  • Submitting Meter Reads to energy suppliers
  • Assist with keeping our database up-to-date
  • Contact clients and suppliers to resolve Change of Tenancy queries

The Data Executive role is a specific job role within the Business. You will be expected to work flexibly across all areas. You will be trained and managed by our Head of Client Services.

Tools and Support

Full training in all areas of the business will be provided. This will cover the energy industry, Indigo Swan’s processes and products, our clients and the company’s strategies.

Training will also cover the software tools we use including Indigo Swan’s CRM system to record information (Salesforce), and our Customer Portal, Pathfinder.

About You

  • A lover of all things data with a keen eye for detail, a talent for spotting errors, and an inquisitive approach.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Communication skills and a confident telephone manner – experience of speaking to clients is advantageous.
  • Strong IT skills and experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • A friendly and professional nature, matched with a sense of humour and a can-do attitude to fit into our company culture.
  • Energy industry experience is not essential as full training will be given; however, a desire to learn about the sector and wish to progress their career in an interesting but challenging industry is a must.
