We are living in, and I hate this term, but excuse me for a minute; unprecedented times, when it comes to the energy market. It really is tough, it really is unpredictable and it really is frustrating and concerning for many businesses across the board.
Over the last three years, from COVID, to the Russia and Ukraine War, to our own political system and numerous changes, we have never seen more events take place that have impacted the price of our energy, the way we purchase it and with it, the amount of issues, queries and headaches that you, our clients are experiencing.
I want you to know that we hear you, that we are here for you and that we are working tirelessly with the energy suppliers to get matters resolved as quickly as we can and as efficiently as we can, whilst also making sure we continue to bring value when it comes to your contract options as well.
We have had occasions where Indigo Swan’s service has been questioned, where timescales and priorities have been challenged and where you, our clients, have expected more.
I want all of our clients to know that I have never seen a team work harder, more diligently and shown more commitment to helping all of our customers navigate this storm, than the current team of Swans we have. I am so grateful to each of them. They could have all moved to new sectors in what is a vibrant jobs market in Norwich, but they have remained committed to Indigo Swan, committed to going through the tough times in our sector and committed to you. They each put as much pressure as they can on suppliers to get matters resolved. This goes for the Indigo Swan Board as well. We are doing all we can, and we will continue to look for ways to do more.
With that being said, yes there have been times where things haven’t gone to plan and on these occasions, I believe we have provided open and honest dialogue and written timelines to support the work we have undertaken or held our hands up and said yes a mistake was made and this is what we are doing to rectify it.
Our aftercare service is something that myself and the Board are extremely proud of, something that I believe separates us from our competition and something that has been recognised and awarded on numerous occasions across the last 13 years.
My promise to you is that we will continue to help you, support you, challenge suppliers and be honest where improvements or a different way of working is needed to better navigate these times.
Our relationship with each of you is extremely important, and I hope as we move through 2023 we start to see calmer times and we start to move to a period of repair for everyone not just those within the energy sector.
In closing, keep challenging us, keep asking us questions, but please keep in mind that at times like this, timescales, positive outcomes and satisfactory responses from our partners are not as common place as they are when markets are stable.
Thank you for continuing to work with Indigo Swan, and I am here to talk to any of you at any time. I can’t wait for the team to start to bring you all better news (I know many clients are starting to get this better news already) and to help unravel fewer costly mistakes when it comes to billing, government support and the contract options that have been present over this current period.
Yours sincerely,
"Indigo Swan were professional but with a personable approach. Their market knowledge allowed me to enter new contracts with confidence, this was something I was unable to do with my previous broker."
Joanna Thornton, Estate Manager
"The experience behind the Indigo Swan team, their passion and integrity were all important to us. They clearly understood the market and could provide the best advice. "
Phil Riseborough, Head of Facilities
"We’ve worked with other energy consultants, but with Indigo Swan we get real integrity and service that is way beyond our expectations. We have already saved over £120k."
Jason Wakefield, Procurement Manager
