We are delighted to share that Indigo Swan has joined the Energy Consultants Association (ECA), a significant milestone that reflects our commitment to Changing Energy Together. This move highlights our dedication to raising standards and driving meaningful change within the Third-Party Intermediary (TPI) market.
As part of this exciting development, our Managing Director, James Groves, has also joined the ECA’s executive team. This leadership role gives Indigo Swan a direct voice in shaping the future of the energy consultancy sector. It enables us to contribute to key decisions, influence policy, and advocate for fairer, more transparent practices that benefit both TPIs and their clients.
By joining the ECA, we’re not only strengthening our position as a trusted energy partner, but we’re also reinforcing our mission to collaborate, innovate, and lead the way in transforming the energy landscape for the better.
James Groves, Managing Director said:
“I am extremely proud to have been elected to the ECA executive team. Being able to have a voice and to be involved in how the sector is moved forward is extremely important to me, my fellow Directors and Indigo Swan as a business. Channelling the passion, I have for the sector and for our business, I hope to be able to drive positive change, improve and steer collaborative relationships with the supplier network and to continue to shine a light on good practice within the Energy TPI sector.
To drive change, you have to be a part of the conversation, and we are. More regulation, stronger relationships between TPIs and Suppliers and better processes for all, are the areas of focus. I hope to play a key part in continuing the great work the ECA have done so far, in making our sector better.”
The ECA is a national trade body dedicated to supporting energy brokers and consultants across the UK. Its mission is to bring greater governance, transparency, and professionalism to the sector. By joining, we align ourselves with a collective movement aimed at improving industry practices, advocating for fair treatment of TPIs, and enhancing the credibility of energy consultancy services. This partnership reflects our long-standing values of integrity and customer-first service, qualities that have earned us multiple awards, including “Consultancy of the Year – SME” at the TELCA Awards.
Membership in the ECA also gives us a stronger voice in shaping the future of the energy consultancy landscape. As part of a growing network of like-minded businesses, we will contribute to discussions with regulators like Ofgem, challenge unfair supplier practices, and help educate the market on the value of ethical consultancy.
For our clients, this membership means they are working with a consultancy that is actively involved in shaping the future of the energy sector. The ECA promotes greater transparency, accountability, and governance, which are values that are important to us. Clients can feel confident that their energy procurement and management is being handled by a company that adheres to the highest industry standards and ethical practices.
Additionally, our involvement in the ECA gives us early access to regulatory updates, market insights, and best practices, which can be passed onto our clients in the form of more informed decision-making. Whether it’s navigating complex contracts, understanding supplier changes, or identifying opportunities for cost savings and sustainability, our clients will benefit from our enhanced knowledge and influence.
