After a Swan vote last year, we are excited to reveal our chosen charity for 2021 is Big C.
Big C is a charity which provides support services to those diagnosed with cancer and their loved ones. The charity has 4 support centres across Norfolk, where anyone affected by cancer, whether that be someone with a diagnosis or a family member can receive a wide range of support. During the pandemic Big C has moved all these services online and over the telephone, so that this vital support is there when people need it during these even more challenging times.
The team at Indigo Swan are proud to support Big C and we encourage you to get involved or donate in any way you can. Your support will be greatly appreciated and needed.
Big C is Norfolk’s largest cancer charity. They are committed to improving the lives of those affected by cancer. Their mission is to enable Norfolk and Waveney to be a centre of excellence for the provision of cancer services, and to contribute to the international reputation for excellence in cancer research locally.
The charity helps fund vital, world-class research into cancer discovering ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer in better ways than ever before.
Since 1980 Big C has funded more than £12.5 million in research and equipment grants across the Norwich Research Park.
