Time to meet our Client Services Team

|||||||||||

You may already know a few of our Client Services team, some of them have been with us for a while. They enable us to offer a whole range of different Bureau Services to our clients.

The team has grown significantly over the years and each of them brings something different to the nest. We’re proud to ‘celebrate individuality’ so thought we would share a little more about this amazing team of Swans who do incredible things every day.

Leanne Jarvis

Leanne is our longest serving Swan and has been with us since we started in 2009. Known around the nest as ‘Leanski’ or ‘Skecher Girl’ she helps our clients with any issues or queries they have with their invoices or meters. As part of her Case Manager role, she liaises with suppliers on behalf of our customers and helps solve any problems they may incur.

Leanne’s favourite value is ‘Happiness First’. She said: “We are individual and have different needs. Indigo Swan tailor their support and rewards to each of us. We all require help in different ways and Indigo Swan do everything they can to meet these needs and ensure the very best for us.”

It’s no secret around the nest that Leanne loves Disney. She’s been to Disneyland Florida a total of 7 times and one of her favourite highlights was meeting her favourite character Stitch. You will often find her browsing the Disney store with Alex on their lunch breaks.

Simon Rolfe

Simon, or ‘SIM – on’ as some of the Swans like to call him, has been at the nest for nearly 5 years. Simon is responsible for most of our ‘human-check’ processes. This includes checking contracts, bills and data gathering.

When I asked him what he loved most about working at Indigo Swan Simon responded: “The way the company has expanded in the last decade and the National recognition that has come with it is still incredibly remarkable to me. I think everyone in the office takes a huge amount of pride in the part we’ve each had to play in all of our successes so far.”

In his spare time Simon likes to play musical instruments and is part of a local band. Guitar and drums are among the many he plays.

Jennie Gilbert

Nicknamed ‘Canada’, Jennie has been at the nest since May 2018. Her role is to enter our customers supplies into our system and data gather their account information with suppliers. Her favourite value is ‘we celebrate individuality’ as she appreciates the encouragement to all be ourselves and the support we give each other and our interests.

When I asked her what she loved most about working at Indigo Swan she responded: “The Swans. I enjoy coming into work every day and spending time with the swans.  We support and encourage each other and can be ourselves.  We all work hard but also have a good laugh, never a dull moment at the nest.”

Jennie likes to go back and visit family and friends in Canada as often as she can. Every time she goes, we like to put in a request to bring back some super tasty Canadian maple cookies. They never last long!

Tom Seppings

Tom is our Head of Client Services and his role is to ensure the team have the knowledge, training and processes in order to do their jobs to the best of their ability. Tom joined the nest in August 2017 and loves the fact that we all work super hard but have a laugh at the same time.

His favourite value is ‘we celebrate individuality’. For him it’s important to understand that everyone has different experiences and interests and that these need to be celebrated. In his words: “It would be a bit boring if we were all the same!”

Tom is a big football fan and will often be found in the crowds of people at Carrow Road stadium watching Norwich FC play! He also likes to collect and listen to records in his spare time and has quite the collection now.

Jade Garwood

Jade first joined Indigo Swan in 2014 but sadly had to leave the nest in 2017 when her husband, who works in the army, was moved to Surrey. We welcomed Jade back in 2019 with open arms when they moved back to the area. Her role as Case Manager involves helping our clients with any queries or billing issues they may have.

When I asked Jade what her favourite value is, she replied: “How we do anything is how we do everything. I am a self-confessed perfectionist and I’m so glad it’s something I am given the time to be here. Everything is done the right way and processes are followed, which makes our service exceptional.”

Jade juggles working with being a super Mum to her son, so works part time at the nest. We love the days when she is in the office and hearing about all their family adventures. Jade is also a big Disney fan. Her and Leanne went to Disneyland Paris together!

Nikki Spinks

Nikki’s role is to make sure supplies have gone live on the correct date with the right rates. She is also responsible for inputting meter reads which get sent over by our clients. If there are any issues, she flags these with the Case Managers who help resolve on behalf of our clients.

Her favourite value is ‘happiness first’. In her words: “Indigo Swan have supported me over the last couple of years from settling into my new role, to developing my knowledge and then finally with my return back to work after maternity leave. They aim to make the hours you spend at work enjoyable and positive ones.”

As like Jade, Nikki works with us part time as she juggles her time with being at home looking after her little boy.  Nikki loves to bake and taught us all how to make fondant decorations to go on top of cakes in a ‘lunch & learn’ session last year.

Sophie Sayer

Sophie is another one of our amazing Case Managers. She helps our clients with lots of different things including any invoices queries, submitting meters reads and arranging meter upgrades. Her nickname around the nest is ‘sassy’ and what she loves most about working at Indigo Swan is the team.

Her favourite value is ‘happiness first’ She says: “I love the fact that the team’s happiness and wellbeing is put first and if anything is bothering you, there is always someone to talk to.”

Away from the nest Sophie loves spending time with her family and friends. Recently she went to New York with her Mum on a ‘once in a lifetime’ trip and it’s safe to say they absolutely loved it! I wouldn’t be surprised if she visited again in the future.
