My role here at Indigo Swan is to assist all members of the company with ensuring our clients data is correct & up-to-date on our systems, requesting information from suppliers and overall working towards ensuring that our clients have the smoothest customer journey they possibly can!
Back when I was 18, it took me far longer than it should have to pass my driving test. I wasn’t a terrible driver (I promise!) but I kept making too many small mistakes each time. But I just KNEW I could do it and so I refused to give up, and I finally got there after a silly amount of attempts!
One of my biggest passions is tennis and I follow most of the major tournaments, and every year I try to go to Wimbledon if I can – it’s my happy place, the atmosphere is just amazing. I try and play when I can too although I’m not particularly good at it myself!
My working life started off in a local, small accountancy firm in a Norfolk village, where I stayed for 10 years and really enjoyed it, but decided it was time for a new challenge and I fancied working in the Big City (Norwich!). Since then I’ve been in Norwich working in administration roles, most recently for a software development company who make very impressive visual effects software (think lightsabers and green screens!); and a EdTech company who make literacy software for school students – both roles & companies were super interesting and taught me so much. But when I saw the job at Indigo Swan I knew it was a great fit for me – it helped that everyone I spoke to about the company spoke incredibly highly of it! And now I’m part of a brilliant team and couldn’t be happier.
Switzerland has a special place in my heart as I got engaged while on holiday there last year! I’d always wanted to go and it was just as beautiful as I’d imagined. (Plus: lots of chocolate & cheese! My two favourite things).
